A 1-800 literacy number in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts Adult Literacy Hotline has recently been created by Sen. Brian A. Joyce to help adults who want help with their English language or math skills. Now this is interesting. This is a state-funded programme, sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Education.

Now, based on the information provided in this article, I would have presumed that it would work like this: you aren't sure how to write that cover letter to apply for your dream job. Is it "their" or "there"? you wonder. You call Massachusetts Adult Literacy Hotline and within moments you are directed to the person who can answer your call.

Alas, such is not the case. The phone number (and/or website) simply directs you to where you can take classes to improve your working knowledge of English. Now, if someone could invent a hotline to help us all with grammar, spelling, and sentence construction, that would be fantastic. Anyone know of such a thing?
